Positive: The apartment is large, spacious, and comfortable. Every bedroom has its own air conditioning, which worked very well. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, so there was no noise during our stay. The location is also quite good, about a 15-minute walk from St. Julian's, and there are supermarkets and other shops nearby. Negative: The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked perfectly, but the one in the living room did not work, so it sometimes became quite warm. In one of the bathrooms, the shower occasionally had no cold water. The kitchen could have been better equipped with a few more towels, and the shower gel ran out quite quickly. We were also provided with only one garbage bag for our entire stay, which was not enough. These were all relatively minor issues. They were sometimes a little annoying and inconvenient, but we managed to live with them and they did not ruin our stay. The main problem was the €200 security deposit. The host kept the entire deposit over several relatively minor issues, including a broken plastic trash bin and some marks on the walls, as well as a damaged bed. We did not damage the bed; in fact, it was already somewhat unstable from the beginning of our stay. What was even more disappointing was the way the situation was handled afterwards. When we tried to discuss and resolve the issue, the host was extremely unresponsive. Overall, we found the handling of the deposit and the communication afterwards to be terrible service. Be aware that you may not get your security deposit back.
